The 2010s was so stacked and thereās so much variety, if you canāt find at least 10 projects you consider classic from that decade Iād question how much you like music
2015 had TPAB and IYRT thatās two in one year right there and probably more

90s got 50 hip hop classics? Idk bout that bro. To me a classic transcends the genre. I totally get for sure thereās 50 really loved albums from that time but I see a classic as something any music fan could appreciate and understand the greatness of. Not just a hip hop fan. Illmatic, Reasonable Doubt, the Chronic are classics. But I donāt think Fear of a Black Planet or AmeriKKKas most wanted have the same status

But Fear of a Black Planet arguably transcended the genre more than Reasonable Doubt, itās got Fight the Power on it and rock critics love public enemy
Honestly I donāt go too far into that thinking, itās more about the quality for me. And thereās levels to classics imo, like yeah Death Certificate isnāt nearly as universal/impactful outside the genre as The Chronic but itās still a classic hip hop album for sure. Chronic is just like a super mega classic. Thereās tiers
