Nah it's pretty accurate. He was quick to pivot from Honestly Nevermind and drop Her Loss, acting like Honestly Nevermind didn't happen because of the initial response from his fans. Only for his fans to start coming around to it a year later.

He has also gone on record and said because of his fanbase, he'll never do a full rap project. And his fans are also the reason why he keeps making long ass albums.

Him trying to please his fans and remain locked into a formula does not allow him to grow. And the one time he finally decides to do something different, it was met with backlash and he went right back to doing the same old thing.

If that ain't stopping him from growing I don't know what is.
