I've gotta listen to the album first but nothing I've heard about this album has me excited or hopeful. Seems like a rushed project on Drake's end, which is confusing considering how much time he's had to work on it. I hope whatever ends up being released is somewhat well put together.

honest perspective from v bias poster
tbh i think he has no one to compete with, and that is probably why he has been uninspired in the process.
he music has been winning due by default since no one can do numbers like him in mainstream + going on insane tour run probably leaves little to be given creatively
from bar perspective i actually think he is at his peak, just think from a production perspective there is a lot to be desired and iâm unsure if he willing to take honestly nevermind risks anymore

No one who gets the chance to listen to a Drake song/album beforehand will ever say anything negative about it and I know Drake is talented enough to never drop a trash album.
I just don't want another CLB situation where he adds too many unnecessary
features because he couldn't finish up the songs himself and the songs don't end up being properly mixed at the time of release and have to be mixed yet again at a later date, etc.Voicing those concerns, which are legitimate concerns where Drake is mentioned, isn't me or anyone else being negative. We've seen him move this way in the past and simply don't want a repeat of the same thing again.

i agree w genuine criticism like this because for a veteran in the game it looks really unprofessional
