WINTERwith the book is vague?
It’s Drake vague because it has a built in out. When he drops it next week he can still say that it goes with the book. The QR code in the book can still be updated so if you buy it in 5 years it might take you to the album. It’s technically true but not what we were expecting.

Things change. We agree that he should have a better plan, but it’s hard to be mad at someone who delivers so often for the fans.
I agree. I just think he brought this on himself. It's clear watching how he acts with all his his releases that he only works well under pressure. He never finished albums till he has a deadline to meet that he's imposed on himself. He waits till the last minute to send verses over. I bet he never finished his assignments as a student till the morning he had to submit them.

yeah i think it's clear he had music ready and they went back in on it and reworked/added/removed over the last few weeks. it doesn't make any sense to straight up lie to sell the book by saying there was an album coming soon if there was NO music ready.
he could have worded it differently because it made seem like the book and album release would coincide more, but maybe that was his original thinking until plans changed.
