The streaming records Midnights broke were Spotify GLOBAL records for biggest album debut/biggest streaming week on Spotify which have no bearing whatsoever on the Hot 100.
The streams that counted towards the Hot 100 were the US streams and it did 549M streams. These are the top 5 biggest streaming debuts on the Billboard 200:
1. Scorpion - 745 million
2. Certified Lover Boy - 743 million
3. Midnights - 549 million
4. Her Loss - 513 million

So why did Her Loss have 8 spots in the top 10 with only 400k units and why did CLB have 9 spots in the top 10 with 600k units if pure ALBUMS sales play a factor in how well an album performs in the Hot 100?

Exactly. This is the only reason why Iâm saying it wonât happen. If Doja wasnât dropping, Drake probably pulls it off.
