He said album was 3 weeks away on basically the last day of August and got that right almost down to the day. Also said how many tracks his company cleared and what type of tracks they were. He comes in every time an album is within month of release, what are you talking about?

I will never understand why Drake doesn't put up iTunes pre-orders or Apple Music / Spotify pre-saves. It's not even a gimmick, is insanely easy to do, and would likely net him more fw pure sales and streams. Makes no sense to me

Everything he does is because he works up until the last minute. He doesn’t know how many songs are on the album yet, or finished every song on the album yet. He’ll be recording until the end of this week, maybe the week of release lol. And the mixes/masters are literally finished that day. I’ve never been a fan of how he does that.

He's always worked like this. So Far Gone dropped late because 40 was working on it till the very last moment. It's something they've always done for whatever reason.

One of the good things about TML/TC/NWTS was he had to turn in the album weeks early because physical copies had to be made. The moment he became established enough to not need to make physicals for his releases anymore, he went right back to working on projects right up until when they had to be released. I believe like 4 songs on CLB were added to the album the week the album dropped.

I guess that'd come into play with the tracklist length, even if the titles were hidden. They should let him do a hidden length too. I also don't think it'd be bad if the pre-order went up with say 18 tracks, but then when it was uploaded and released came with more/less
