It's a losing game and he's listening too much to other people's opinions on what he should be doing. That will not go the way he thinks.

Agree, the whole ATL sound is my least favourite Drake. The sound already is saturated enough, Drake has so many types of music he’s good in, it’s just a waste for him.

Not necessarily in songs but as albums yes. Themes on Take Care are wildly different from those of Her Loss.

I disagree. His past music is just overly-glorified because it was his introduction and so everything he did back then was fresh and new. After a while, exploring the same themes doesn't seem as magical anymore.

It’s different now though. I guess you could still call him Heartbreak Drake but his relationships with women aren’t even relatable anymore. Not in the way they were on So Far Gone and Take Care. He still had semi-normal relationship issues then. Now all his relationship troubles seem to be hyper specific to dating this new breed of Instagram models, something that I think really started around Scorpion

Honestly Nevermind might be an exception here but the music was so drastically different that people really didn’t fully connect with it in the same way. If he can combine the HNVM songwriting with that old Toronto sound then I think he’ll have a winner

Drake was admitting to sleeping with p***stars on Take Care. That was 12 years ago lol. He has always lived this lifestyle. The difference between now and then is that he's older and a lot richer now and he LOOKS it. Back in the Take Care days, he didn't dress this dapper or have this much swag/display this much wealth on him with just the way he dressed. He looked much regular back then but he has fully settled into the lifestyle now.

He has always rapped about f***ing hoes, strippers, p***stars, etc and his dysfunctional relationships with them.

Maybe it seemed more sincere when he talked about it back then because of how new/young he was but he has always talked reckless. He just had the good guy image to mask it a bit back then.
