Is it really only 12k people in an arena?
I think united center was like 19K
Is it really only 12k people in an arena?
Not sure tbh
You literally said July 14th after we got the mixing news a few days ago and literally nothing has changed since 😂
The lil wait got the thread losing their mind :ariscared:
HONESTLY, NEVERMIND / HER LOSS OUT NOW

Liability might be my favorite drake song ever.

I don't think Honestly, Nevermind has aged even a little bit. It's basically all I've listened to since it came out
Liability might be my favorite drake song ever.
Same with Flights Booked and Overdrive
I didn't expect to get an album at ALL in 2023 so THANK YOU DRAKE
Legit thought we’d be waiting till at least middle of 2024 to even start another rollout.
An artist being in front of 12k fans every night and promoting the album is actually such a weird concept to you? Lol
No, but no one is asking him to do that. Fans aren't demanding he give them updates about the album. They're too excited to see him after 5 years to even care about that plus he has kept fans fed, no one is demanding he drop anything.
After how he dropped Honestly, Nevermind/Her Loss, I don't get the change in strategies. This is exactly what he did with More Life when he announced in October that it'd be dropping in December 2016 like anyone asked him to drop another project that quickly after Views to begin with, only for it to not drop until 5 months later.
I just don’t understand man lol you would think he said “just started on this album, pushing it back because it’s not close to being ready” the way people are acting
Same with Flights Booked and Overdrive
Overdrive is so wild. His writing on all three of the songs we mentioned was on ANOTHER PLANET.

Yeah, that was before he went to another show and basically confirmed he's not done working on it yet.

I swear every song still sounds fresh as f*** and even falling back grew on me after a while
I think there's a big difference between "F* you Drake, we want an album and we want it now, 8 months after your last release!!!!!" and critiques of the strategies and communication methods used for this rollout thus far. Think that's an important distinction here
Another thing is, people gotta listen to MORE music. There's so much out every month, something will align with your tastes. Can't imagine waiting around in agony for a handful of my fave artists to drop

Hnvm might be his best writing since nwts
Roy Woods and Travis dropping July 28 I’m okay without Drake before those lmao

We’re getting 4 albums in 2 years. It’s really hard to be anything other than confused at the terrible rollout. More quality music on the way.
He’s using the tour as promo. Y’all don’t appreciate a good suspense builder these days
Nah, I don't actually. Hype doesn't mean s*** these days. A hyped album can still flop if it drops and people don't like what they hear. You can also drop an album within a week's notice and have it end up as one of the biggest albums of the year.
So, in my opinion, he might have as well waited till the album was done to begin the hype machine and it's even more silly when you consider how he completely abandons pushing his albums once they drop.

That new roy snippet sounds insane
