This is good. I personally needed to hear "You're not an angel" 2x or 3x times on the song. I would have preferred more as a hook.
Also just seems like he was vibing on the song it wasn't like A+ writing.
Drake projects lately have had one of those special R&B records (Jungle, Fire & Desire, Teenage Fever, Jaded) and off rip I knew this was gonna be one of those ones. Wanted to wait a few weeks to see if it still held up and it is has.
Do you y’all consider this an elite R&B Drake song or just another another R&B record?

I’ve always said he truly wants to be an Rnb artist but I think he is scared to put himself out like that...however I believe this is his true calling...this song pretty much shows why his rap career is now behind him...love this song...it’s definitely one of his best...

How you feel bout Peak?
I f*** with it a lot. My first couple of spins on Scorpion I wasn't crazy about it but it's a grower. I really feel like the first 3 tracks of Side B should've been Peak-Jaded-Finesse. That would've been an insane way to start the flip side of album.
Yeah exactly man. I just don't know where he would fit in on the track tbh.
I def see that tbh, but at the same time idk if I see Chris Brown ruining an R&B song. Regardless song is goated

I’m probably in the minority here, but from Peak to Summer Games to Jaded is lovely. Love all 3 songs. They just hit different🤷♂️

Yeah I agree. I just don't know where the Chris Brown verse would go tbh.
Cause I'm wavy and I'm sayin' things
That I don't mean, but I do mean
And I don't want you to miss me
'Cause there's no way that you're sorry
And you're crying and you're sayin' things
That I do believe, but I don't even
Want you to get in my mind
I'm supposed to be in your mind (Oh woah)
For the first time in a long time
For the first time in a long
For the first time in the longest time

Yeah you’re honestly right, I was thinking what if Chris Brown had the chorus “hurtin deeply inside...”, but I still don’t know if that’d be better.
Elite of course
if you disagree you need to take a long drive at like 1 am and just have them on rotation
Easily my favorite track on the project, which is wild cause
I dont think Drake got in his songwriting bag on that one, it was more of just a vibe

I’m probably in only 1% of all population here...but I genuinely love Summer Games

second half of Shut It Down underrated R&B Drake record
they’re not ready for this conversation
ELITE. Drake top 5 rap and r&b, people just don't want to say it, even him. He is tho.

Second part of the song takes it too Elite, CB as much as I like his music, feels awkward on this. These rnb songs always sound better when it is just drake to me.
Is jungle the goat rnb drake song?
