Drake projects lately have had one of those special R&B records (Jungle, Fire & Desire, Teenage Fever, Jaded) and off rip I knew this was gonna be one of those ones. Wanted to wait a few weeks to see if it still held up and it is has.
Do you y’all consider this an elite R&B Drake song or just another another R&B record?

When he hits this pocket, that’s when I knew, every classic R&B Drake needs a potent outro:
Thought I knew the real, then they flipped
How many times did I ask about this, on God?
Why you let me find out like this, on God?
Houston, we got a problem, my dawg
All my niggas love you, got us all involved
Ain't no goin' back to how we started off
No, no, no, no
This is an elite rnb joint no question. People really think Chris Brown having a verse on this would have made it better but I doubt it. S*** is 🔥 🔥

Yeah it’s definitely Drake in his classic RnB bag, another heavenly outro, the last 3 rnb outros have been insane

Song is already 4:30 as is so idk if i would take any of Drake’s verses off for Breezy

Yeah exactly man. I just don't know where he would fit in on the track tbh.
Elite track
Cause I'm wavy and I'm sayin' things
That I don't mean, but I do mean
And I don't want you to miss me
'Cause there's no way that you're sorry
And you're crying and you're sayin' things
That I do believe, but I don't even
Want you to get in my mind
I'm supposed to be in your mind (Oh woah)
For the first time in a long time
For the first time in a long
For the first time in the longest time
100% elite rnb joint
it could've been if he put Party or Ty Dolla $ign on the background vocals
I love CB but don't like how the vocals sound. still one of my favorite songs on the tape
Elite. Drake hasn't had an average R&B song in years now. He's perfected his craft in that sense. You get R&B Drake and you already know it'll be elite

No, no, no, no
We connected
I think he knows exactly how to get in that pocket whenever he wants
It’s the same kind of tone switch in desires when he hits
I see you back in Turks
Remember who took you there first
And don’t you forget it
The guy is a genius man
Desires and Not You Too both are classics. I’m expecting something special R&B wise if NYT wasn’t album material.
I love NYT but I wouldn’t put it on the same level as Jungle and Fire And Desire. Those two are elite RnB joints. And as good as Jaded is it’s not on that level either.
Outro makes it special but nah it wasn’t jaded, redemption, fire and desire level to me.
Amazing track that tbh I think would have done better without the Chris Brown feature listed.
If it was listed just Drake no feat, but still had Breezys background vocals that would’ve been a nice lil surprise and made it 10x better.
I think listing the Breezy feature may have set expectations a bit too high. Love the song regardless though

How you feel bout Peak?
