Genuinely don’t see how he can win the defamation part. Context matters heavy in that situation. Obviously it was a rap battle that he participated in, egged on and threw defamatory remarks himself. His only proof people believed it is anonymous YouTube and twitter comments, Which doesn’t hold up in court (you could also use a bunch of comments from Drake fans saying Kendrick definitely beat his wife against it)

The botting and payola allegations are pretty straightforward, All they need is evidence of UMG doing either one of those

Makes sense now about the contract. I remember besides the random YouTube comments, twitter comments, akademiks guests, joe budden, Etc. didn't he also say he had a “whistleblower” was that still in his case or did he drop that from the suit?
