Drake was the highest streamed artist of 2024 and the second best-selling artist globally in 2024.
That song did not affect him financially in any way, shape, or form
His own assertions about his current status in verses post-beef contradicts his claim in the lawsuits that this beef affected his status in a negative way
Hilariously simple way to look at defamation lmaoo

1. I was just reiterating what the lawsuit says to backup the claim that a beef could have a negative impact on an artist
2. Drake literally had his house shot at, stores vandalized, etc etc, you don't think that is affecting him or his team or his companies in any way whatsoever?
Before this gets shifted on me, yes I know Drake voluntarily contributed to a rap beef and that some of these things are a result of his own actions. But that doesn't take away from the claim that a rap beef can have a negative impact on an artist which is the point I was making.

His s*** didn’t get shot up because of NLU. Didn’t that happen weeks before?
And he still dissed the dude who every claims to have had a part in it

Negative, happened after NLU, happened a couple days after HP6 I believe

It’s not. One of the main pillars of a defamation suit is you have to prove damages. He’s alleging that this song ruined his negotiating power with UMG.
Him still being the top selling artist would be a direct contradiction to any claims that the song harmed his negotiating leverage with the label
Pusha T is not Lil Wayne, he also didn't sell the song to WorldStar as an exclusive

You don't calculate it based on
''He was the most streamed artist last year and he is also the most popular artist this year''
You and Fader do not have access to the information that it needed quantify the damages
Not Like Us being this “damaging” is inadvertently making it the greatest diss track of all time
Drake doing more promo for the song than UMG at this point
NLU was May 4th
Shooting was May 7th
Wtf I swore it was after euphoria but before nlu. I’m wrong

Fuegos right because word on the street was drake was going again after HP6. Even some of Kendrick’s camp was tweeting that he was dropping again. And then all of it just vanished after the shooting

What you see is not enough to be able to conclude that ''it did not damage his earnings in no way, shape or form'' as Fader did
You can guess, you can predict. But don't come here posting your guesses as something factual in the way Fader did and which you co-signed

He’s been promoting it for Kendrick even if it’s subtle jabs on streamers live.
If he had sat down and thought of a worthy rebuttal then he wouldn’t have lost this bad.

Nah he was done already. He said it on HP6 and his IG story
A lot of misinfo was out at that time

I think real said that family matters was supposed to have a man in the mirror sample and it didn’t get cleared

Aren’t you the same person that just said “UMG launched one of the biggest marketing campaigns of all time for Not Like Us” based on absolutely nothing other than what you can see?
I think real said that family matters was supposed to have a man in the mirror sample and it didn’t get cleared
Yep.
