In my high school there was this 16 year old that was dating a 20 year old and she was completely okay with it.

I’m very positive if someone asked her today if that relationship was okay, she would probably say that it was.

Based on her response now, do you think that relationship she had when she was 16 was okay?

Do you believe that video acts as proof that he's a pedophile or was he a 22 year-old, drunk on stage on his first tour as a headliner who said something inappropriate to a young woman who got picked randomly and turned out to be 17?

Again, yes, him touching her how he did and saying what he said to her was inappropriate. No one is defending that or debating it but y'all can't keep going back to that as some sort of "gotcha" to prove he's a pedophile when that only ever happened once and at a time in his career when he was just getting into the game.

And yes, the person in question is now a 31 year old woman who has had 14 years to go over the events of that day in her head and she has decided, back in 2018 when she first addressed it and again in 2024, that the video and her shouldn't be used by anyone to prove Drake is a pedophile. She understands that he was a drunk, stupid 22 year old who did something he wasn't supposed to do.

I feel like to the general public who has no interest or knowledge about Drake yeah he did to a degree. Obviously its public knowledge you can look up, but he amplified it by using it as a single cover.

In that situation it is clearly wrong I literally agree lol I wouldn’t have even done that myself. These comparisons are stupid cause I could bring one up and you could say the same thing. It is completely irrelevant to Drake’s situation with the chick on the stage.

They didn’t date clearly didn’t have anything happen afterwards. It was a weird awkward moment on stage and in my opinion should have never happened. He was in the wrong for it but does that make it illegal? No cause clearly he never got in trouble for it lol.

Ya’ll wanna bring up this example but never look at it from an un bias lens. Why was he never charged? But that doesn’t matter to you cause all you care about is jokes and likes. Nobody can have a serious convo about it.

i agree with most things you say after that first paragraph, but there are definitely people defending & debating if it was appropriate. i’ve banned like a dozen people since the beef kicked off for doing just that.

i don’t think an isolated incident from his early 20s makes him a pedophile, but the actions he took that night are indefensible, and even if the woman is now okay with what happened, that doesn’t change the fact that a minor cannot give consent, no matter what their feelings on it are in the moment nor in the future.
