We get it you hate some styles of drake music and can’t comprehend if other people enjoy it and have to post 100 times to vent on it.

Drake became Drake by bringing up his own unique sound. And I get that that’s become a bit harder because of the amount of people that bit him during this past decade but he still needs to come with that unique Drake sound that made him the head of the table, not lower himself to this generation’s level and be outdone by them.

Bruh Drake could do what Kanye did and f***ing Scoopity Wooptiy all on a track and they'd call it fire and have an o***** listening to it. It's so weird that they just eat up everything he does mean. I mean if that's what they want to do they are entitled to that but how they going to be mad that some people won't do that and actually are fine with giving constructive criticism to one of their favorite artists and it not be hating on them.

People angry at the people who have valid criticisms are the worst kind of fans. It's okay if you think everything he drops is the best thing ever but don't go at anyone who feels differently. Especially someone you KNOW is an actual fan and isn't just hating.

I understand what you saying. I don’t think the song sounds bad but I can see why you feel the way you feel cause it’s like he’s gotten too comfortable with keeping up with the current sound.

On the other hand, I do think the beat selection works sometimes in the case of songs like Lie to Me, Not Around, Lotta 42 (Rest in Pieces). Those songs have classic potential evidenced by the huge positive response on here. Also, Time Flies, Deep Pockets, and Not You Too worked. Those are songs that are gonna age really well for him and had that lo-fi sound.

That lo-fi sound is honestly a sound he helped create and it’s apart of his soundscape/brand. You go to Drake to hear that atmospheric dark s***. So I just think it’s how you look at it but fair critique overall.
