He didn’t need to show how great of a rapper he was on views, he just needed to show that he’s on the level of eternal artists like MJ and Beatles type.
Views is so immaculate with melodies and production. It also came out at a time where music and the world was ready for something new and usher in a “summer of love”
S*** was great and I hope he doesn’t drop the ball with CLB. Like u said you can’t grow with this type of music, just something to slap in the car.
Good find. Listening now it’s so cold
I just got hip to it from your question. It's some good stuff

Not Around, Lotta 42, and Lie to Me give me that vibe though. Those are songs I expect to age well.
It’s funny cos I like this ultra generic as it is while also agreeing with all the production criticism put forward so far. When you have your guys like Griselda, Gibbs, et al getting laced with amazing s***, Drake’s tryna play with one hand tied behind his back.
Man Alfredo by Freddie Gibbs is one of the best rap albums in the past 5 years

Not quite the same super high level he was on I mean Days in the east is just So gooood

Minus the awful autotune and kinda
I’m just playin s*** don’t sound like NWTS at all
This that same ole Oprah’s Bank Account new-age Drizzy but I ain’t hatin...
People angry at the people who have valid criticisms are the worst kind of fans. It's okay if you think everything he drops is the best thing ever but don't go at anyone who feels differently. Especially someone you KNOW is an actual fan and isn't just hating.
U good, keep talkin, that’s what the thread is for

It’s in the same vein/ballpark. pause
I think Not Around might be his most ambitious record in a while. And it’s so simplistic. It’s got those simp lyrics to it but it has that atmospheric sound while also sounding current.
The fact he still didn’t drop the album, probably means he wasn’t happy with it and been trying to improve it.

Vital to me but another throwaway I just don't get Drake decisions these days

I actually liked his verse on that song. But as a feature though. His vocals sounded good.
Worried about CLB
What if Drizzy doesn’t have it in him anymore and it’s going to be a mid album
Why yall so dramatic

Remember the Made Men verse?
