DrakeKs penmanship is always gonna keep him afloat but will it keep him moving forward.
Views felt like a victory lap rather then him actually aiming at something and it’s all felt too comfortable since.
I would say Views felt ambitious and forward thinking.
I think he can be a victim of his own success in that he’s so versatile that he can often lack direction. Because I know apart of him likes keeping up with the current sound of music while another part of him is trying to maintain a high standard of quality for his albums. And then of course the different things the fans want. He can lean into that stuff a bit too much IMO.
Somebody on Twitter said as an artist you don’t give fans what they want, you give them what they need.

serenadei feel like drake is just spinning his wheels at this point. this isn't the kind of s*** you delay an album for half a year to make.
He's trying to see what works and gets responded well to lol. He was the one leaking those songs. He d9nt know what direction to go in and it's so disappointing to see from a guy who is a veteran and should be a leader and confident in his moves.
