Something about it seems really genuine, like how a self titled should be and his journey to that point. Ghost Town being one of his best songs with the intro and Violent Crimes sounding great too. Only weak song is All Mine and even that has its appealing qualities.
I like the way he flows on that album, much more focused in comparison to JIK. Give it a few years and people will change their opinion on it. Took me a while to truly appreciate it.
Yeah i would give it an like 8/10 as a general music , but like its a kanye west album
And i expect waaaay more from ye
Like there is no new sounds on this s***, and it doesnt match his energy of the rollout at all
But maybe i will come around to it one day too 🤷♀️
which songs you f*** with ?
Deep Pockets, D4L & Pain.
Not feeling the others much, you?
Man d4l is the only song I completely f*** with on this tape and Drake was absolutely unnecessary on it

thats not how RG works B
Not feeling Not You Too
toosie slide ruins album's whole vibe tbh
Yeah its an instant skip for me too
Who would’ve thought getting on a song with Drake would be the worst thing to happen to Carti’s career
Not feeling Not You Too

That’s fair but I can’t see why you’d put JIK over ye knowing full well what he’s capable of.
Even then I like both, I’ve stopped expecting grand masterpieces as he’s already given us those multiple times over the span of his career.
Not feeling Not You Too
Same and I'm a huge Chris brown fan and adore no guidance

I can't separate ye from the 5 album run it was a part of, especially ksg.
Taken as a whole it's just an absolutely incredible era, and ye as a standalone album is different than anything else in his discography and it has some of his rawest and most interesting flows.
still on my first listen rn.

Chicago was cool when it dropped but I’ve grown off it now sadly.
