To be honest I dislike when to say when because of the beat. To me if you gonna hop on a well known sample you BETTER do better than the artist who did it first.

Song cry had a full concept and everything about that song amazing. When to say when is just drake rapping very one dimensional. I’d prolly appreciate more if the beat was different

Something about it seems really genuine, like how a self titled should be and his journey to that point. Ghost Town being one of his best songs with the intro and Violent Crimes sounding great too. Only weak song is All Mine and even that has its appealing qualities.

I like the way he flows on that album, much more focused in comparison to JIK. Give it a few years and people will change their opinion on it. Took me a while to truly appreciate it.
