Man I love closing out with Jimmy Cooks
S*** like dessert after a full course meal

the dessert is better than the main tho
Honestly, Nevermind should be a entry level introduction to house/dance music, so that people who are interested to this sound could take a deep dive of it. If others look on that aproach, dance music for black people could strengthen in mainstream terms while the underground can enjoy what they love. Everyone wins. Sorry if I'm rambling LOL
Beautiful, maginficent
none of my island boys are feeling this album
Issa flop
“Drake is the worst part of this… beats are fire tho”

they told me to put no shopping on
I personally don’t know, I’m not him. I’m just connecting dots here. His lack of f***s given toward that album compared to other official studio albums is pretty striking
If I were to guess I would say he probably wishes he stuck with his original vision of a concise album that he spoke about way back on his 2019 rap radar interview
That promo with the SFG, TC, NWTS covers also pointed to something more focused
What we got wasn’t terrible but it was NOTHING like that
Well I think what we got was different than what he was originally going to release

Ima add on to that and say that I truly don’t think he likes anything he’s done since Views. He clearly still has issues with what went down in 2018 (as shown on the Apple Music notes for this album) and hasn’t been able to deal with it in a healthy way. He talks about being outside more as a way to cope but I think his best music came from when he was able to be zen and more chill to himself
Drake didn't drop an album of radio friendly bangers and his stans lost they f***ing mind in here. His biggest stans had a mental meltdown in here and it's both hilarious and pathetic af.
Overdrive might be the best song ever made
I agree but it’s overdrive

I’ve been seeing a shift towards house/juke music for the past year or two. Would definitely progress the culture into new creative spaces. Mad sub genres can spawn from it
