I believe he’s treating this album as a reset from his disappointment with CLB and just doing what he wants from now on, hence the album title

i’m from there and i get why niggas said that but that’s cos black coffee rn is ibiza status and also love island doesn’t help. however i do think drake was basically bringing the music into his world and not the other way round. makes it more enjoyable this way imo

I personally don’t know, I’m not him. I’m just connecting dots here. His lack of f***s given toward that album compared to other official studio albums is pretty striking
If I were to guess I would say he probably wishes he stuck with his original vision of a concise album that he spoke about way back on his 2019 rap radar interview
That promo with the SFG, TC, NWTS covers also pointed to something more focused
