He’s always shy’d away from performing in general because the difference in him as a live act and as a recording artist is his Achilles heel (as opposed to Kendrick)
he only uses performances as promotion in ways that he can control and not as major highlights for himself because he does the numbers as a recording artist to not push that aspect of himself if I was to critique him myself
I agree with this, but I don’t think Drake is self-aware enough to realize this.
He always boasts about how many tickets he sells and how he’s always on the road, I completely disagree with the notion that an artist as egotistical and competition based as him would turn down the chance to become the first rapper ever to headline the Super Bowl
