Anyway if anyone has questions about tickets n sht, I can help out
I've been in the trenches for this s*** all my life unfortunately
if you think Drake can't do stadiums you aren't living on Earth.
I'm trying to figure out if these people are serious or not
For starters, I thought it was already established that this was supposed to be a stadium tour. The reason why it isn't, is obviously not because of ticket sales what are we doing lol
And like..what's the reason as to why we think he couldn't do a stadium? Do niggas think The Weeknd and Swift are THAT much more popping than him?
For those that missed it

What’s the info?
Is anyone able to add funds to their cash app card? Looks like I have to wait until mine comes in the mail to activate the card first :/

you can use it virtually
you can use it virtually
yeah right but it has $0 on it - and is requiring activation before letting me add money from my bank for the tickets

hmm maybe add the money to your cashapp account balance and not to your card directly? you could possibly just link your bank to cashapp, send money to someone you trust, and have that person send it back. then it will just be in your balance that the virtual card will draw from

A billion dollars
the stadium talk interesting. Cause if you netting the same profit doing multiple arenas whats the problem

I assumed if I added cash to my account then I’d easily be able to use the virtual card with those funds no?
Detroit mafia
This Franny?

Looks like this is the move
I can’t add funds to my account either
I feel a lot of people are going to be in the same boat tomorrow trying to add funds and are unable to
Hmm this talk of "Drake too dam big" I think is something based on streams and history, both of which are misleading in determining Drake's current status in general public
Tbh im hard pressed to find the last song that most people really f***ed with that was not traveling on top of meme.
Truthfully, the only ppl i have found that really be supporting Drake for his music are in gay circles. They really spin that s*** fr.
In short, I think he is appealing to the lowest common denominator among rap fans which is why you hear 5 year old and older songs played everywhere to this day, but those people in large mass don't buy tickets. Not to say causals don't buy tickets, but if we take the weeknd for example, ppl aren't buying tix to hear starboy. But if he never releases blinding lights, he doesn't have the tour he had now two years removed
Almost every friend + coworker I’ve ever had is a Drake fan, whether it be a casual fan or a hardcore fan. Gay, straight, men, women, older, younger, black, white, etc.
You can’t be the #1 streamed artist on the entire planet for almost half a decade without having a very widespread fanbase.
Drake could do a stadium tour in his sleep, you are utterly delusional or can’t see outside of your own bubble if you think he can’t.
The Weeknd is my favorite artist but he was nowhere near Drake’s level of stardom before Blinding Lights/After Hours, and that’s understandable because that’s the song + album that turned him into a worldwide star.
Drake doesn’t need a Blinding Lights level hit at this point in his career because he already has a decade’s worth of wildly successful singles & albums that people know and have been listening to for years.
I’m of the opinion that arenas work better for Drake because of the type of performer he is, but he would definitely, without a doubt, be able to put butts in seats in stadiums across the country if he ever decided to go that route

Some of your points are correct but I’d argue that The Weeknd became a huge star way before Drake did in 2015. I think you’re discrediting BBTM a lot and I get it cause it’s a bad album but Can’t Feel My Face and even Love Me Harder made dude a huge star way before Blinding Lights/After Hours

Nah I’m not discrediting BBTM at all, I love that album, and it definitely had some huge hits on it.
But I think that was a case where, for mainstream fans, that was their first real exposure to him and his music, so I wouldn’t say he was bigger than Drake with that album solely because there were a couple big hits on it.
BBTM came out in August 2015 and sold 412K first week, then Views came out eight months later and did a million first week. Even IYRTITL, which was a complete surprise drop, did 535K first week in February 2015.
BBTM/Starboy definitely turned Abel into a star, but I don’t think he reached Drake-levels of super-stardom until After Hours
