Reminds me of the Hotline Bling situation. Having a number 1 is cool for the stats but IRL no one cares about that 😂

Life is good was never #1 either sure did feel like it tho

Why though? Any artist / artist's team has the option to do what she's doing

They just probably won't do it as successfuly as her

Releasing 8 discounted remixes in 1 week to sustain a chart placement is pure desperation.

If you need to do all that to maintain a chart placement… things just aren’t meant to be at that point

  • Nov 11, 2022

its not that serious tbh, everything drake drops goes number 1 automatically most of the time, I can see him retiring with the most number 1 hits ever

that girl just dropped like 10 remixes in a week and coupled them with tour tickets while also make them time limited items to get her 13yo fans to have fomo about how to use their allowance

    i respect hustle and success
but she did way too much this week

  • Nov 11, 2022

Rich Flex is number 1 on the streets and on real niggas mind too

Anyone with a brain can see with it went second and Taylor first

    "milking your mentally ill fans"

i dont know. like i hate on nicki crazy on this site, but i always admired how her fans rally behind her and support her music by purchasing when she drops.

same with taylor. if theyre willing to buy what she is releasing, and it is being delivered on a timely manner, i dont see anything wrong with it personally

People view charts for an indication of how hot a song is not who has the best finesse strategy + who's fanbase is more unhinged and will engage in mass buying to skew the charts

y'all know if the second week number 1 is possible? seems like the song is stable in terms of streams

  • Nov 11, 2022

Rich flex is still gonna go number 1 maybe they drop the vid this weekend? But Taylor doing to much

It's the hottest song seemingly but all depends on finesse strategies that are lined up again lol

One of the biggest copes ever is believing Drake doesn’t drop physicals and remixes because of “artistic integrity”. He doesn’t drop them because nobody is going to buy them like that and both he and the label know that.

If he could sell a million copies like Taylor, he would. Ain’t no way he’s throwing away a bag because of some imaginary chart ethics Drake stans made up.

    Why should Drake drop remixes

To sell more records and make more money, like Taylor does. Just plain business. That strategy just wouldn’t work quite as well for Drake in terms of sales though so he doesn’t do it.

    are u smoking dope??

everyone i know in toronto would pay $.069 for a single if it meant first access to copping ovo tickets goofy

the reason ovo tickets sell for $1000+ is cus the first batch sell out to bots and get resold

I’m talking pure physicals and remixes, not little bonuses like early ticket access. There’s a limited maximum amount of tickets for a show or tour as it is so that alone isn’t going to drive sales figures that much anyway.

Views sold 850k in physicals so that already negates your argument.

The “Drake cant sell physicals” rhetoric only comes from his recent low pure sales, which is ONLY low because he no longer releases physicals. You sound dumb

every taylor remix came with premium access to buying her tour tickets, what u on about

so the more remixes u bought (6 of them dropped this week), the higher up the ladder u are for first dibs on tickets

He doesn’t drop physicals because they’re not going to increase his sales that much to make it profitable to do so. He has streaming on lock. Again, there’s no way he’s deciding to just throw money into the garbage because he thinks physicals are unethical or something crazy like that.

Views dropped before streaming was big yet. We are in a much different era now.
