Again, y’all are putting words in my mouth. I never said I wanted him to “rap his age”. Yes his duty is to make great music, all I’m pointing out is that his approach has changed creatively.

That’s not a dig at the music either, I’ve had Her Loss on repeat since it dropped.

My point is that introspection and emotional depth don’t seem to be all that important to him in his creative approach anymore. That’s all. Just an observation.

I was expecting a full studio effort next after these two amazing “side” type projects but i might be thinking too predictable

Nah he won't lol not with this new deal
It's the reason we got HNVM and this project

But that's the reason I think a full R&B is possible now, he kinda just doing passion projects

They memed the hell outta Rich Flex but the way he sets up 21 for his verse is so catchy dawg, I love it

I'm a fan of Her Loss and to me Honestly Nevermind is his best project since 2015, if not my favorite ever

but Drake is absolutely missing a hunger he used to have, even if he's a better technical rapper. it's just palpable. doesn't have much to do with introspection IMO.

I’m in for more passion projects

You remember pre CLB when he was talking about NWTS being his best and that CLB was gonna kind of go that direction and length? Obviously that ended up changing but my personal dream would be him going back to that idea with the passion project mentality and just make the perfect drake studio album, maybe after an R&B one

But this is an exciting time I can’t wait for what’s next
