Wait I’m on the second to last main mission
Feels like it was just getting started
I was wondering if this game is a lot shorter than I thought.
Seeing the playtimes I was like how?
Need to add a hard mode or ng+ scale difficulty.
Game feels old to me, but it is fun. Idk it just plays like something that came out in 2015 idk how to explain it.

Nah for sure this the same feeling I’m getting lol. I mean the graphics feel straight outta 2015 it’s shocking they could only get unlocked 30fps from it.
The classic gaming feeling of running in every house and taking everything because there’s no laws against the main character stealing >>>

Sticking to the main path you can knock this out in like 20-25 hours on a fresh play through. You’re definitely skipping out at least 50% of the content available in the game.
Side note: I may have been a bit over zealous in preventing my pawn from getting Dragonsplague. I’ve drowned n threw her off cliffs so much other pawns are starting to comment that “she has more scars than they’ve seen before.”
I was just trying to protect her. In my defense she said something like “me and my Arisen have gone through many battles. The scars show my resilience.” Something to that affect I was idling on my phone when it happened.
TLDR: if you kill your pawn or your pawn dies a lot (like resummoning from riftstone die) they get “scarred”. I haven’t check if the actual character model becomes scarred, but definitely psychological at least

90% of the game is optional stuff, you can easily dump 100+ hours into a single playthrough by my estimates.
There’s at least 50 dungeons and I’ve only found 5 or 6 in roughly 25 hours
Was on my way back to Vermund when a Drake decided to be on patrol, went exploring while I waited for it to sleep and ended up in Battahl
Rode my first griffin
cooked my first griffin

Yeah I’m just gonna stop doing the main quest for now and go knock out as much side stuff as I can. 25 hours feels way to short for a game like this.
Has anyone solved any statue riddles yet? I got the one about the “beautiful view revealing something hidden” but I got stumped and left

Half the fun is discovering it on your own.
It’s called Formless Feint
It’s part of the main story, but still missable. I’ll fully tell you if you want.
