I think it would be a nice callback to what Beerus has been talking to him about by just focusing on what comes natural to him

It's because he still doesn't realize that just because he wished to be stronger doesn't mean he'll stay the strongest. Granolah has no battle experience. He's simply a hired gun. He never really was a fighter. Vegeta's dialogue to him was amazing. He went back to how Vegeta is a battle technician.

We been asking them to try sliding back the power scaling for years

Instead they make a villain who kicks SSBEgeta, Golden Frieza, UI Master Roshi, SSBKK Goku and 17’s ass and outlasts the ultimate transformation twice

Then they made a dude who was even stronger and faster than that!!!
