i actually think the reason companies with older people in charge are so obsessed with AI is because they struggled to keep up with the technological advancements

I don't think you or whoever made this decision understand the spirit and purpose of artist threads sometimes you need a place to make little comments and updates that may not be album/song relevant or use it to introduce ktt to someone with a classic thread like sherm did with nourished by time.. and not every minute thing needs a thread either for every artist. it's also less daunting for people getting into a new artist because they have a centralized thread they can see the progression of over time through releases and updates

you're essentially moving toward making mini subreddits which sort of sterilizes the more classic forum spirit that keeps ktt unique.. for example you locked the zukenee artist thread but he constantly drops little loosies and small tapes on soundcloud, teases s*** on ig that's not part of a current rollout but gets traction, etc what exactly does that look like by splitting everything into different threads or having to use the most active random thread to post something in? we have a good ratio of artist/album/song threads with great users like provider or proper who put in work and everyone else doing news and misc s***, why fix what's not broken exactly

A lot of the flawed logic in the pro AI arguments comes from them attacking one sector of the argument instead of the whole thing. Like Dre says "afraid" of AI, I wouldn't put it like that—I think a lot of AI stuff is lazy and wack. I'm not "afraid" of it—but I don't like when I see artists I like use it lol
