my point was that new creative technologies have repeatedly changed what musicians can do and what people consider “real” creation.

the thread started with people basically saying “Dre likes AI because he's washed, lazy, can't create anymore,” and my argument was that using a new technological tool doesn't automatically mean somebody can't create.

it's saying you can't dismiss a comparison just because the technologies aren't identical. you have to explain why the specific similarity i'm pointing to doesn't hold.

Generative AI is what folks on here complain about the most. Stuff like Suno, Udio, OpenAI, and ChatGPT.

Gen AI collects texts, audio, and images from various sources to create an output of uncanny ideas.

Predictive AI is used to a***yze data by identifying patterns and behaviors, and locate future outcomes. A lot of companies been using this AI for a while, but now that it reached the creative space, it’s pretty useful for something like Stem Separation.

Problem is that niggas are too damn lazy to actually do the f***ing research before actually trying to decipher what’s the main problem.
