Jul 18, 2021Hi-CCole right about a lot of s***. He just has a really bad way of going about saying it which rubs people the wrong way.
KOD is really accurate to a lot of the struggles young dudes have when they first blow. It's just the music kinda sucks so the concept gets lost. He is WAY too on the nose with his messaging.
That is why to me, Kendrick will always be better. Kendrick has great messaging without him literally making it so obvious what the theme is
There’s really no competition when it comes to Coles and Kendrick’s artistry. I was relistening to TPAB today because I hadn’t sat down and relistened to it in forever and it’s ridiculous how better it is then the majority of music that’s come out past decade.
Am I biased? Probably. But Kendrick one of the few artists who got an amazing run like Ye, Danny and OutKast.

I was actually gonna say this. I feel like this makes a lot of sense. It sounds like he tryna rap off the top. Which makes sense cause he really aint a good freestyler at all LOL

Cole has a lot of great ideas but his execution is all over the place
I don't even mind the simple writing, No Role Modelz is a great song sonically and his energy on it is great, it has some great lines, but as a whole it leaves me confused, the way he jumps from one point to another with no correlation 💀
Also he always has some weird lines that stick out in a bad way
