  • I still enjoy it as much as TLOP despite his first 6 albums obviously being better.

    It just had happened to be sandwiched in between 2019-2020 ans 2022-2025 which are his worst timelines.

    TLOP is not a legendary album by any stretch of that word lol. I could write an essay on why that album is ass but simply the fact he edited the album post release and that was a meme is evidence that album is not legendary. moments that are essentially bullshit don’t enamor me to call the album legendary nor do fans glazing it because they missed 2004-2011

    TLOP is probably the first Kanye album (but not the last) where it legitimately would’ve sounded better with Kanye’s vocals removed from most songs

    Whether or not it's fully intentional, it is very revealing of his mindstate at the time, which makes it very honest.

    I love TLOP because it effectively captures so many different eras of Kanye. It has chopped up soul, aggressive electronic hip hop, weird experiments, some nice pop cuts that wouldn't be out of place on Graduation, etc. and ties them all together with real character and personality. Only Kanye could have made that album.
