i think it's very understandable to have a preference for women from your own ethnic group. dating outside of your ethnicity, let alone outside of your race, can be a big culture shock and women from your ethnic group will probably understand you better due to having similar experiences and the same culture.

on the flip side, when you have a preference for women of a particular ethnicity that isn't your own you have to question if it's due to some sort of fetishism, because unless you were adopted and grew up mostly around those women, why would have a preference for them?
