So only one starter and a sixth man was out cause Ja still played well despite the injury and carried himself like it wasn’t an excuse

He was still hurt though. He wasn’t 100%. Injuries aren’t an excuse but it’s def a part of the story. Same with the Bucks run

I think the better question is, what value does having a mega hit have in 2024 in an era and time where monoculture doesn't exist like that anymore

He's still selling out every venue, breaking touring records, selling over 500K first week, I mean depending on what your definition of mega hit is, he probably doesn't but I don't think it matters? And I also think it's a conscious decision from him.

This is a guy who has done Find Your Love, he's done One Dance, He's done Started, Hold on we're going on, It's a conscious decision by him to not chase that 'mega' hit but like...rich flex was huge ya know? So I don't quite understand why a mega hit would matter or what difference would it make

It’s not that it necessarily matters or hurts his career by not having them still, it’s just an observation on the current state of things. It’s not meant to be a slight or a diss

Yeah bro the guy who him and his fans are all about dominance just randomly decided to stop chasing hits because he’s suddenly above it or he wants to bar out or whatever

He’s trying they just aren’t connecting like they used to

it really isn’t lol, Tiller exemplifies the worst aspects of modern R&B, dude is awful

that love should be going towards niggas that can at least play an instrument and honed actual vocals in a church like Daniel Caesar or a Moses Sumney, but neither of them wear a shiesty…

    SeattleZ12

    What was their reasoning

They said I was “promoting Kanye’s Nazi ideas”, but if you go back and read the thread I was originally banned in, I said multiple times that everything Kanye did was wrong. I never defended it once. They were upset because I just said there wasn’t any racism on Vultures the album.

And today they just banned my alt but I’m not sure why. Sab already knew my account was an alt because he responded to me a couple weeks ago

I feel it, and I really didn't take it as a diss to him or anything. It's fascinating fr

I just think that he very clearly traded in the pop hits for this gangsta era and I'm not sure it's really impacted his bottom line

But to answer the OP I don't think he's had a 'mega hit' this decade but Rich Flex felt pretty big ngl
