Facts. The vibes and energy from 2013 rap to 2023 rap is f***ing wild.
For some reason people got slim jesus out the picture quickly, but now it's too much work to do that for everyone else?
Lack of serious care from the upcoming generation combined with a apathetic millennial crowd and disjointed zillenials lead us here and it’s already too late
No bullshit like I'm tired of that. I get that you got the "real hip hop heads" that are annoying as f*** but we losing recipes and that's how you get s*** like that corny white boy who was speaking out of turn during his On The Radar interview
What happened there?
It’s sad cuz I think Hip-hop is the only genre that people are cool with this type of disrespect
Only genre that gets talked about like a commodity as opposed to an art form

Yep and to make matters worse all of our elder statesmen who have a responsibility to uphold a standard are more interested in protecting their brand or are just straight up apathetic

Or just as bad as the youth they s*** on
or going through a midlife crisis and competing with the youth instead of promoting them
Harriet Tubman music is craaaazy

She gets points from me for trying but I agree lowkey. Incredible performer and great personality but so far not impressed with the music itself. Hopefully her next project changes that but I’m doubtful
Easy. Can you see yours?
Go tickle your feet instead of typing man nobody wants to read that s***

Sounds like the hype got the better of her while the act is solid

I gotta blame it on that Twitter brain rot culture. Any little thought is rushed to be shared with the world, and the dumber the thought the better but don’t be too dumb or you’ll get clowned to death
Sounds like the hype got the better of her while the act is solid
That and I think her ethos is just not interesting tbh. I seen folks calling ABNH her S80 and it damn near broke my heart for her

She was pretty good pre tde

I hate to be on this type of timing, but labeling conscious rap as Harriet Tubman music means that person clearly doesn't give af about the plight and struggles of ADOS(African Descendants Of Slaves). Shows a complete disregard to history and legacy which reflect the anti-intelluctual movement going on in the world these days.
ADOS blood, sweat, and tears laid the groundwork for so many African American artforms and philosophies. They are the seeds and Hip Hop is among those fruits.

This criticism is valid but the same can be said for the opposite type of person that only likes conscious rap. If you can’t appreciate the entire spectrum you not real
