I mean all movies are shifting to more blockbuster feel because they want to make crazy money more than they want to truly connect . I mean obviously story will ramp up as the series continues as do the books but how they approach it the focus is money at the end of the day

Which we know many industries are but sometimes when it becomes so blatant it takes you out of the movie itself

Yeah I didn't play TLOU so had no connection to the characters. And those actors performances in Game Of Thrones were too strong for me to forget about while watching.

And I'm too big of a Alan Moore stan and too big of a Lindelof hater to ever bother with that Watchmen.

People kind of forgot the value of actual good acting . There is such a focus on star power when some unknowns or lesser names are genuinely better actors

I watched the tv show too though it was alright even though I loved lindelof on Leftovers. Parts of Watchmen missed for me. Still happy for its success community and those that loved every second of it. Had some cool moments lol

Alan Moore would definitely pop a blood vessel at some parts of it. I love Moore too. I need to finish Jerusalem his book

Zendaya and Timothee could be swapped for better actors that are lesser known . Major for scifi but I cant wait til there is more scifi with lesser known names less focused on blockbuster and more focused on soul.

Thats just me though. Regardless I paid my dues and my money supported the movie lol. I didn't ask for a refund and I am glad it exist.
