I didn't even say I dislike the movie. It was okay for me same as dune 1 . Has some cool moments . Has great visuals. Its major win for scifi overall. It just didn't all work for me and thats okay. Hard to put into words. The vibe just clicked and I got over my Lynch version fixation I guess. I think the Lynch hangup was the main thing cause I loved BR2049 right off the bat.

I finished it for the same reason I watched Watchmen I had to see it through because the original material meant something to me. I also wanted to see if they could fill in MORE gaps and differentiate it from 28 Days later more. I wish they would have went more towards anthology style nearly. Like yes the story of Joel and Ellie is central to the last of us but their acting and chemistry only works so much when you have seen it in a game. Star power and zooming in on faces cant replicate that feeling. Again 28 Days later clears for me.

Henry and Sam episode great though worth watching for sure
