One of the best modern blockbusters I’ve seen. Genuinely comparable for me to to my first watch of Lord of the Rings, The Dark Knight, Inception and other blockbusters I consider instant classics. Built on everything the first did well and pushed it much further with a morally complex story backed by phenomenal performances, action and cinematography. First movie on my recent rewatch was an 8 or 8.5 out of 10… great but room for improvement still. This one is 10/10 no notes.

lol not yet was going to go to 70mm tonight but had more errands. I cleaned all day today. I don't know man I am conflicted. I enjoyed Attack on titan even though it was drawn out this has similiarties. But as I felt on the first one visuals are dope but I feel a lot of the star power especially Zendaya and Timothee( based on first movie not second) would be better off lesser known actors with more emotion I can personally connect to. Seeing white people reenact the pain of Middle Eastern people while the s*** going on in Palestine is a lot for me. To each their own . In a way its moving cause it draws parallels but in another way it feels off.

That is all again just me though.
