Yes. 100%. I was in the exact same boat as you. Didn’t give a s*** about any of the characters after the first movie, but I fell in love with basically all of them after Part Two

caught a midnight screening tonight in 70mm imax

had my own reservations about the initial first part but love it now after repeat viewings, this here was an instant classic for me. came out of it an hour ago so i’m definitely tryna contain my hype but this just delivered in an insane way

This had the feeling I wanted after originally hearing he was adapting the books

for me, 2049 came closer to capturing it than the first part did, it had higher highs with its tone & atmosphere but this levelled that & went above & beyond, it’s impressive
