Dune I like that it got lore culture breathing world even if they do try to cram a lot of that lore fast. Just hoping for a directors cut like everyone else that lets first half breathe a bit.

We need more scifi series to balance all this CBM. So whether thats anime, video game or book adaptations load them up because we are tired of this flow of straight super hero shonens.

Saw it. Loved it. Genuinely want to watch it more and read the books. Can’t tell if it’s the hype but I can not think of a thing I disliked about the film other than some delivered dialogue but who knows. This movie is exactly why I love SciFi Denis on his Peter Jackson s***

I mean yes and no. Dune probably would have fared better in a world that thought the Star Wars OT was too fast but the tastes and preferences of the average movie goer have been consistent since pretty much forever.
