I was in awe the entire time. And don't even get me started on the sound design.
From the second I heard the Sardauker voice before the WB logo even showed up, I knew I was in for something really special.
And that voice effect when Paul asks for the water

this movie in imax is NOT easy on the eyes especially when you’re tired

s*** is brutal

the fact that this is one half of ONE book is insane too for a movie that has this much depth

not even half. It’s like a quarter of the book

i swear bro every few minutes the screen would be blinding white all over and it’d be hard to even look

and i was kinda dozing in and out cause i’m sleepy and s*** was like whiplash

most of the film is dark and then the rest is very bright and way too many times in imax my eyes were vibrating with pain

Looper and Knives out had so much personality as well as actual writing that the Star Wars movies could have needed but so much fan service those fans don't accept anything different

Reading through the Dune books, you can see the influence it has on SW but nah Denis, don’t ruin your life

But really if you like Dune read Incal, Technopriest series by Jodorowsky its bascially his Dune in comic form and its really good

Knives out is so good man

I don't even think a star wars can be "good" I need to watch visions though because when fan bibles get too long there become too many rules so they lose the sense of unexpected as well as varying tones. This is part of what the MCU dealing with as well.

Dune lays out the stakes well(from what I have seen lol going to do a theater watch don't worry ) . Too many worldending events in movies makes the world meaningless
