Gunn said Xolo is staying in the dcu and they're probably not gonna make Blue Beetle 2

Could adapt some of the young justice blue beetle storyline for this and it would work

I think James Gunn said that her pitch / script for Supergirl was great. she also had already been writing for a Supergirl movie pre-Gunn era, so im sure she made tweaks with Gunn's desire to adapt Woman of Tomorrow.

and im assuming the reason she got this movie too is because of how great James thought the Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow script she wrote is + she probably mentioned that she'd love to write for Teen Titans too

I get that but writing two major blockbusters with 0 history of writing movies is a lot of pressure to fail in some way. Whether Gunn liked it or not .

Rooting for her don't get me wrong but there are so many women writers who do have a resume so its still slightly bonkers

nah yeah I agree, I just trust Gunn to know what good scripts for movies are.

also I know Gunn gives notes on scripts and since he's overseeing all of the creative side of the DCU, he's going to want to only see good scripts

Ngl this is probably my most anticipated DCU movie. I grew up with Teen Titans more than I did Batman or Superman thanks to the Cartoon Network series
