Only lames gonna hate on this one.. G-Easy got another one

i think what it comes down to is that the post lets dance material are not marketable enough for the cost of making a boxset and all the stuff that goes in it production wise, that is unless they limit it and number it then the fans will be covering it, but marketing strategy speaking how is a big chain store gonna sell a boxset out of tin machine albums to black tie? that’s not sellable
unless they include MORE albums within one boxset now, then there’s something to play with outside (bowies first album with eno since berlin trilogy, hours of unheard material etc etc) and earthling (50th anniversary live with all the guest superstar, and afraid of americans is pretty relevant this generation) so there’s a niche for that

yea everything after lets dance up to before blackstar is probably too niche for most, a shame but it is what it is
90s bowie forever underappreciated
also waiting on it gives them more time to spread from the next day and blackstar era so that it’s not “too soon” and there’s something big to make out of that commercially wise, comeback + final album, on top of that the ACTUAL five last bowie songs post blackstar home recording we still haven’t heard they could include and that’s a win
type of s*** to make me wanna kill myself no lie

his label wilding pulling all the cards
heh tbh as much as it sounds like s*** i think it’s cool that his legacy is being spread out where his late late material is being covered and paid tribute to and not another cover of sample of fame or lets dance or life on mars or whatever

weezer bowie tribute album when?

If someone does a bowie cover personally i wish they'd do some of the less popular stuff... instead of just Life on Mars, Heroes, ziggy, blackstar singles
i might just be a hater but also could give less of a f*** unless its someone relevant to bowie's story and s*** as well
heres one cool bonus we could have in the 90s boxset that we still havnt tho: the multiple attempts and version of being me the disco king
he first gave it a shot during black tie sessions then tried again for earthling sessions so there’s definitely recordings of it yet to be released
altho its kinda cool they’re doing so much lately for outside era
