Anybody have experience playing this on a Series S? Did a playthrough a few years ago on a pc I built back in 2018 that has a 1080ti, will the graphics/experience be better than that or about the same? Haven’t played phantom liberty yet and would love to do that in my living room you digggg

Performance mode is around 900p 40-60fps with reduced settings compared to the X, not horrible, but I’d imagine a 1080ti could do better

Got the complete edition for my PS5 two weeks ago, finally, dunno why I waited so long to play this.

I'm about 50% into the game, & this is already a top 5 game ever for me, goddamn.

If this didn't have the launch it did, I guarantee this would've universally been acknowledged as the GOAT gaming experience, man.

I haven't experienced something so immersive since The Witcher 3 maybe.

Wish I could play this for the first time again. It’s really a shame that the paths dont branch that much. Hurts replayability.

I really hope they up the immersion and choices making in the sequel. Imagine a kingdom come level RPG set in the cyberpunk universe. That’s my dream game

Anyways yea it’s one of my favorite games of all time. I envy you rn!

    Posted on Reddit:

If there is actually gonna be more DLC I can’t possibly imagine it being a Phantom Liberty sized thing given the budget of that expansion (and the fact that this one appears to be outsourced).

    Maybe a post-main story deal?

    this expansion was incredible
Phantom Liberty takes everything the base game does well and refines it further. The set pieces are more exciting, the main quest storyline is fantastic, the characters are more interesting and the setting (Dogtown) is as good as the best parts of Night City. The side gigs are even better and more complex. I can't remember the last time I sat and watched the entire end credit scene.

I prefer Dogtown to NC. It's dark, it's gritty, and being smaller makes everything feel more intense and alive. The combination of half-built luxury buildings with derelict structures is perfectly cyberpunk and it just looks breathtaking at night.

I chose the ending siding with Reed and then getting cured, it felt the most logical choice at the time I'm gonna play the rest of the endings for sure.

    Any leaks about new patch?

  • Jun 15, 2025

i still believe the King of Cups finale is the best Phantom Liberty ending

it matches the credits animation and leads into the goated solo Arasaka raid ending perfectly

About 55 or 60 hours in, only thing i got left is a few PL quests and then the last few main quests and i’m done with the game.

This is in my top 3 games ever, without a doubt. NC and Dogtown are absolutely amazing and one of the most vibey/atmospheric, alive-feeling gaming worlds ever created. Dogtown especially for me, coming from south europe, and it being heavily inspired by those locales.
The relationship with Johnny is so well written, going from this crazy terrorist that you just wanna get out of your head to a guy you actually understand and consider a close friend by the end game.

Some of the scenes I’ll never forget for the rest of my gaming days - Jackies funeral, waking up at the pistis sophia hotel and watching the sunrise over the coast, that first meeting with reed on a derelict basketball court that’s also the coolest, most vibey-est spot in a video game ever probably, gazing at the stars with panam, I could go on forever probably. It’s absolutely the most immersive gaming experience, especially for a bladerunner, scifi loving guy like myself.

The writing in general is standard CDPR goat level s***, the world is amazing, I just wish a bit more variety and choice is available in some aspects, but all in all - in this state (with Phantom Liberty and all of the updates), this is undoubtably a 10/10 game and one of the best games ever made, period. I don’t wanna end it

This was supposed to be the game of life

They promised so much, and showed us something wayyyy different in the previews, but in the end what we got was pretty damn good.

It could’ve been a lot better, but I have hope they’ll actualize that dream in cyberpunk 2.
