Yeah. It helps if you wanna go ahead and boot up the game on 2.0’s release and play up until the expansion becomes available (there’s a certain part in the base game’s narrative where the expansion is intended to be started).

The expansion is different than The Witcher 3’s, which are sort of intended to be played after you beat the base game. With this one you can either focus on PL or bounce back and forth between it and the rest of the base game.

Kinda want to try this but dont feel like paying $70 for a 3 year old game i may not even play

Quest log now includes a glossary/codex implemented into quest details.

UI as a whole has been overhauled as well.

Man, all the previews I’ve seen for 2.0 are going crazy for it.

I suppose it won’t do much for people who had issues with the game’s writing (which I still think is generally good, and the main story is superior to The Witcher 3’s), but if you did dig the writing this seems like it’s just what the game needs to tip it over into great status.

It’s less of a simulator than a Bethesda game, and I think that’s also something some people have trouble wrapping their heads around.
