Whatever game comes next, needs to be in 3rd person.
Love 1st person because of the immersion, but a 3rd person option would definitely be nice for the next game
Wonder how the expansion of the game is gonna work since it takes place before the end.
Is it just gonna be a side quest branch that becomes available at some point during the main story, or will they actually integrate it into the main game?
Also, will they introduce new mechanics that can carry over?
Watch the Panam ending is the canon one

I could see it sending us to the rich people’s space station
i’m glad this game is popular again I almost regretted paying $60 dollars for this but I’m glad the community came around to it

I think cyberpunk 2078 or whatever they call the sequel could be one of the greatest games of all time. the rpg elements need to be refined, like choosing more interesting perks that make playthroughs feel unique. and the world needs more content per city block lol or something because the city often felt huge but hollow.
I’m praying starfield doesn’t feel similarly hollow, 100 star systems seems so ambitious but I’m gonna reserve judgment for when I play it.

I’m curious if a sequel would also take place in Night City, or a completely new local.
Hell, bump the game 100 years in the future, call it Cyberpunk 2177 and you’d be able to make some drastic changes to it but still roughly keep the same structure and topography.
Don’t know why people would think a sequel would just be 2078. 50-100 years removed would allow for a lot more changes and evolutions of things.

most of them will probably be copy and paste procedural generated planets I don’t even think star citizen has that much

Eh Bethesda has way more experience and a way bigger team and budget, what games have the star citizen devs made? I doubt they’ve made games as big or acclaimed as skyrim or fallout 3/4 before, which were massive
But yeah I’m definitely hesitant about how good the writing and quests will be if it’s spread out over such a big world
Also star citizen is like an online multiplayer game with an economy, so a lot of money and effort is put into those systems instead of single player story-driven content
Cool little detail I picked up on is that the sound that your character makes when they move changes depending on what they’re wearing.
Leather pants/jackets squeak like leather and the Edgerunners’ jacket you get makes a jingling sound as you move because of the pieces that hang off the bottom of it.

Eh experience doesn’t always necessarily mean quality Bethesda f***ed up releasing buggy games like fallout 76 etc it’s like Microsoft isn’t giving them a big budget
You’re right about star citizen it’s a money pit the graphics engine used is outdated and there are more visually impressive games out there. It’s only a matter of time until people stop drinking the Kool-Aid and start suing 500 mill from backers alone not including what investors shelled out.
Star citizen has a lot of flaws but we have to give credit where it’s due in starfield there is a loading screen whenever you enter a new planet it’s not seamless like in star citizen/squadron 42 ( single player)

Cyberpunk already has a storyline and they can simply adapt one from the later time into a game story

You’re right they f***ed up fallout 76 but to be fair another studio worked on that game (zenimax online studios who developed elder scrolls online) and they’re not as talented as Bethesda game studios tbh
Finally got hold of a PS5 and reckon I might buy this after hearing about how improved it is.
Any PS5 players that can attest to how it runs now in PS5?

for me it has always ran well on both series x and ps5 tbh
It’s insane how much is in this game when you really think about.
Just the variety of sequences and the fact that little 5 minute long gigs will have dedicated interiors with unique assets that you can’t find anywhere else in the game is f***ing nuts.
And on top of that this game has probably the most fleshed out side quest chains of any AAA open world/RPG game I’ve ever played.
To think, this game was rushed because of shareholders and essentially put together in under 3 years.
That’s insanity.
This game would have undeniably have been a GOTY contender if it had been released in the state that it’s in now.

Runs pretty well in the 60 FPS/performance mode and looks great too.
I got a bit like an hour past the part where you’re carrying the naked chick out the apartment and trauma team arrives, then I lost my save
Wondering if I should restart
