People wouldn’t be buying a game if it was still unplayable. Use ur brain bozo
That’s not true people still buy plenty of terribly buggy games lmao
Not people acting like the game was always amazing now that Edgerunners made Cyberpunk popular again
Game was deservedly s*** on for having the worst launch of all time, and now the game is actually on a good and playable state but you can still tell it's far from the original vision they had for the game
Wasnt Witcher 3 also buggy at launch?
Maybe thats just how these CD Projekt bozos move
Like I said, feels unfinished but you’re probably right
Having 5 ending is dumb af since we dont know canon.
If V has 3-6 months to live, they can easily do another game considering this one shows V has 2 weeks to live
Nah close to the end if I remember correctly. The Johnny and v merge began to happen quicker and they time limit to her death was in a few days.
They can use any character in the sequel and it’ll be a hit* *they don’t need Johnny, he is just one of the more notable names in night city but they’re are many others.
But we all know any new main edge runner in night city will eventually die cause that’s how life is in night city
so good games aren’t worth buying now???
this dude literally wants someone to beg him to buy this game
Lmaoo he asked a very simple question what’s so wrong about it?
So im almost done with this game? at the mission where the point of no return is. So far the story is mid, rushed as hell, feels like it didnt cover the city well. Side characters are alright, I love Panam tho i wanna f*** her
Best of the game is the gameplay, shooting feels good and sneaking is alright, in terms of rpgs id put this slightly above fallout 4 for the good combat, but below 3 and new vegas
Honestly you have to do all the side quests options and other main quests . I had to do 3 playthroughs to get different dialogue . Unless you sped through the game you could of got a full cohesive story from start to finish.
Only part I feel is rush is the beginning with the tutorial

All of their games have been buggy at launch, similar to Bethesda or Dice
Witcher 1 was really bad, and still is I believe, but they weren't exactly known at all, young team and all.
Witcher 2 was also a mess.
Witcher 3 had issues too, don't recall which since I didn't play at launch.
Cyberpunk had to be there worst overall release though in awhile and since being at the peak of popularity and the notoriety they had garnered, a recipe for disaster, and very unacceptable.
You could get away with it when you're smaller for sure, but when you get that big all eyes are on you.

A big part of the problem was releasing it on the old generation of consoles too, those were the buggiest I have read.
PS: Since you have Juri in your avy, do you play SFV? I started playing recently

Nah I just watch the fgc tourneys
I've tried playing, but I suck and I don't have the patience or time to commit for learning combos and all that with fighting games
Wish I was good at them tho, only genre that evades me completely, far as being good goes
Never ever got into Cyberpunk because of that horrendous launch but since watching Edgerunners and the sale on it, I’m having second thoughts.
With all the updates, should I take the plunge?
Yeah it’s worth it, it’s not what the game originally wanted but overall the story is good and it’s playable on next gen. The bugs are mostly gone outside standard open world stuff. It’s the best it’s ever been.
If you’re willing to wait longer they are going to rework a lot of things and make it better, notably the police stuff, melee combat and vehicle combat so it might be worth waiting.
It’s not going to get that much better most likely so it’s a good time now to hop it.

If you got hardware to run it, why not
It's more like Fallout than GTA though in terms of content

After the engram is removed he has 6 months to live, that’s why it feels unfinished.

But if I remember correctly something happened at the end that sped up Vs expiration date to a few days

U remember incorrectly
Even if u choose panam ending and engram is removed, they travel to phoenix or somewhere in the ending cutscene.
Why would they do that if he had few days to live. Pretty sure it was a few months before the cancer/radiation kills him

(Serious) what are some things this does better than witcher 3
(serious) ray tracing.
thats about it
CD PROJEKT RED SAID "FUCK WHAT YALL THOUGHT WE BACK "
Numbers on Steam rn are CRAZY.
They’ve been steadily climbing all week, about to hit 100k concurrent today, and a lot of them are actually sticking to the game, which is a rarity for something this long.
That last patch + the anime has really revived this s***. I bet even CDPR didn’t expect this.
Hopefully this means that’ll be even more committed to adding/reworking things in the game. Feel like a sequel will come eventually.
hate for the game always been overblown anyways
just parrots and youtube "journalists" pushing fud

Cmon dude, game was a f***ing mess prior to the next-gen update.
It’s now, almost 2 years post release, in the state it should have been when it dropped.
They should’ve just cancelled the last gen-versions, it’s clear they built the game with PC in mind at MAX and had to scramble to get the s*** working elsewhere.
