Stability aside, its not the world breaking game changing 11 out of 10 game it may have been set up to be, but overall its still a good game.
Imo.
I’m 50 hours in and not near the ending yet
Real, & so far im in the same boat.
I just started playing earlier today for the first time with 4 hours logged & i just finished the getting the robot spider mission (which i usually hear/read of other people getting to that mission relatively quick).
Ive been doing lot of side missions & exploring the city.
Side note, but the city actually "feels" like a city to me & how intricate the layout is with its streets, scale & alleys etc. are amazing. Feels way more engrossing imo than something like Far Cry or a GTA, where those city worlds feel more like dioramas to me. NC is just cool to be in for me.
But yeah, im enjoying & taking my time so far.

I’m 35 hours into the game and still barely into Act 2. I’m honestly really enjoying my time with this game.
and the crunch continues
Said it before the launch itt, but like half or more of that staff is gonna quit the gaming industry altogether whenever they fully finish their job for this project lol

Is it really that bad?
Is it really that bad?
The crunch for the game late last year into all this year yeah.
Its even worse because every time they thought the game could come out this year, they would get hit with the delay & have to continue working in the main game even more. The main development staff most of the time didnt even know a delay was happening until the day of like the public, so u can imagine how s***ty & crushing that can be to see the finish line in front of you then it suddenly getting moved further back out of nowhere right before you cross, among everything else.
It's even worse now with how the first week reception went & damn near made all that sacrifice not worth it, & them not even getting validated in the end.
It really sucks for the ground floor workers. I feel for them.
Theres gonna be more about the working conditions coming out over the next few weeks too in articles & such.
At least they finally get a week break thanks to finally launching, but then their going back on the treadmil for more hardcore bug fix grinding & eventually DLC + multiplayer.
Not to mention dealing with the huge noise of backlash & disappointment from the public, bosses & investors due to the first week launch & poor PR decisions made by the higher ups that had nothing to do with the ground workers but they take the heat publically anyways.
Possible but unlikely. Even for the multiplayer they said they wanted it to be it matches to the story/lore... i take that as if u die in multiplayer and u respawn it makes sense.. And they hyped up V as the guy, would be weird u dont play as ur created character and gotta make a new one
Would be like you said then ignore all endings

I hate how every reddit thread says this is a dystopian game, this is the happy ending you dont win bs
From the gaming communities golden child to the last major joke release on current gen.
Life sure comes at you fast.

It's straight up bad writing, which is a shame considering the game had decent writing for the most part. Every option literally forces you to leave Night City. They just didn't have time or couldn't bother develop a proper endgame. Hell, the "meet Hanako" task stays on your HUD from that point on, lmao

This was supposed to be the ps4s swan song lmfao
Right now is the time to buy CDPR stock if you ask me
wait until microsoft pulls the plug and it dips further
Let's not act like everyone getting refunds on PS4 isn't going to buy another copy when those patches come out and the PS5 gets restocked
