For pc only I think yes
For consoles I believe it’s Wednesday night when it becomes midnight local time
Wait how would you play it early?
Wait how would you play it early?
You can’t. Global release on pc and consoles. No vpn tricks.
7pm EST Wednesday is when we can play
Review copies had heavy denuvo, hopefully the game actually runs better than what's been reported
witcher 3 had 93 Metacritic so not too bad they plus they had way more expectations following a goty up which probs biggest game since rdrd2
I’ve read a few reviews and it sounds like the stuff CDPR are amazing at — side quests, complexity to main characters, choices having significant weight — are all still amazing.
I’m sure it has bugs, and I’m sure the combat is a bit repetitive, but so did The Witcher 3, and that is basically my favourite game of all time.

what you expect its huge rpg on six different platforms its fine if the main game is good

"Similarly, your stats and background in Cyberpunk produce occasional extra dialogue choices, but they rarely changed how my conversations unfolded. Many games’ roleplaying choices are obviously crude binaries or illusions. Even so, those illusions — like Telltale’s infamous warning that someone will remember that — help draw players into a story. Cyberpunk 2077 is a powerful machine with a million slick toggles, but a lot of them feel conspicuously disconnected."

"Similarly, I was shocked to discover one of my favorite missions early on wasn’t even offered to another player because of a single decision we’d made differently. I was also floored when multiple decisions I made during a mission mere hours into the story massively changed the outcome of an unrelated one more than 25 hours later. I’d unwittingly turned what could have been an all-out gunfight into a friendly conversation."

holy s***
wondering if i should revisit Witcher 3, barely got far in it
still need to beat Sekiro too, I'm on the gorilla boss
I feel like this game is gonna be pretty f***ing amazing and (what a shocker) still won't live up to expectations. I mean that much is clear by now.
There does seem to be a strange disconnect with a lot of the reviews. They're speeding through a game that is by design meant to be played slow. What I'm having a hard time gauging from the reviews is if the world actually feels alive and vibrant despite the oppressive, nihilistic aesthetic, or if it just feels empty outside of the cold approach they're going for.
Either way it looks like a really unique RPG, and personally I'm way too interested in Sci Fi to pass this up. I just hope it's fun.
Can't decide if I should just cancel my pre order and just wait a couple weeks/month for a patch to fix things.
Really seems like this game still isn't quite ready yet
I don’t really get the point of these reviews. They’re complaining that the game is buggy despite not even having the patch(es) we’re gonna have. Then, all of these reviewers have to rush through a game that one should definitely take their time with too. The reviews are good to have, but I’m not sure about how valid they are
Regarding gameplay, I really hope that people aren’t bullet sponges. That was a big thing that turned me off to RPGs in the past, an example being new vegas. I think games like this should provide an option where we can tailor damage to be a bit more realistic in that regard.....then again in cyberpunk, these individuals are only part human..

You could always cancel it. Wait to see how the patch on release helps and decide from there.
Witcher had a couple of updates and a big one later in its release that even changed up the look and feel of the interface.
