Witcher 3 story
Bloody Baron was the only memorable part of the main story, the rest of it is just a drab fetch quest that goes on for way too long. Side quests/world immersion is where TW3 shined and I'm expecting the same for Cyberpunk
Nah...those 3 witches crushed the buildings. The whole vibe music/story was next level.

The f***
Maybe you are Bobby hill
???
Remind me what happened in TW3 main story other than Bloody Baron and Battle of Kaer Mohen because the rest is fr boring and pointless bullshit
TW2 main story was FAR better

Oh idk the crones, novigrad hunting non humans, Johnny, helping everyone, skellige entirety, the hunt themselves on your ass, the cursed werewolf, etc.... like you’re joking

The 3 witches are bloody baron isn't it? The hags or crones or whatever? The main story never reaches the heights it did once you leave Velen. Don't know why they made the game about chasing Ciri when there's a literal war going on, TW2 ending had me HYPED about the threat of Nilfgaardians invading and then TW3 main plot barely focused on that
She should've been found within the first 8 hours or so, not have her be missing for pretty much the entire game

I'll give you Johnny. I don't remember all the quests for your cohorts but I'm sure some were good, I only remember Yennefer's with the genie. The hunt didn't live up to the hype (far easier to fight than I expected) and I don't remember the cursed werewolf at all
Skellige was garbage, I avoided the place because you're expected to sail everywhere with a weak ass boat that enemies can destroy easily while you don't have access to combat abilities
I don't know what choice I even made for the ruler or the impact my decision had until my ending cutscene
TW2 had completely different second chapters depending on your choices. You encounter a dragon in the mf prologue, prepare to fight that big ass insect in chapter 1 like an actual witcher would, fight difficult assassins in chapter 2 if you chose Roche's path, there's political intrigue of the likes that TW3 doesn't reach (kings being assassinated, Geralt being framed, the dragon being royalty) and Letho was an excellent villain. I played this game like 4 years before I did TW3 and I remember far more about the main story
You made choices during the campaign and actually felt the impact of those choices instead of having everything vomited back at you during a cutscene at the end
EDIT: Ok before it gets taken literally, let me point out that my last sentence is hyperbole
I know you see the effects of your choices in the world of TW3, I just don't think those effects are as clear and in your face as TW2
Velen was really the height of the game. loved the creepy atmosphere and the side quests were top notch
Novigrad >>>
The bank heist in Hearts of Stone was elite
the wedding >>>

Completely forgot about that. Hearts of Stone was elite DLC, man. A proper concentrated DLC with a strong villain and a perfectly paced plot line.

If Cyberpunk has a villain half as good as Gaunter O’Dimm, I’ll be satisfied
it was supposed to be out today
The people on Reddit mad as s*** cause they took days off

at least it was only delayed three weeks, still very close
At this point, the only thing I’m wary about is the writing.
Which would have been the thing I’d be most confident about given The Witcher 3
Having poor writing in an RPG is pretty unforgivable considering how much dialogue and story plays into the overall genre, so if this game is lacking on that front it could be a major problem.

The main plot peaked in Velen, nothing else came close to those Bloody Baron quests. Still need to play the DLC, but I've heard nothing but good things about it

Bad AI is a concern I thought of this morning, would ruin this game for me if enemies are brain dead

Eh, most enemies in RPGs kind of are.
Given the variety that there’ll be in the game in terms of enemy types (given various augments), I’m sure it’ll be fine. I’m not expecting anything revolutionary, I’d imagine the AI is probably on par with games like Borderlands and the like.
There are certain things that this game does that a lot of other shooters don’t, like full limb dismemberment for example, and the enemy will still function (i.e. if you blow the legs off an enemy with a shotgun they’ll continue to crawl towards you if they still have health left).

Heart of Stone is the best bar none. The story is excellent and Gaunter o Dimm is one of the greatest villains in the history of gaming.
It’s a fact that the Xbox is more powerful than the PS5 why is that even a debate
just look at the specs. A couple poorly optimized games doesn’t change that fact. Crossgen games at that. Niggas need to wait for a fully next gen game to be released before they begin talking s*** on either side.
But anyways keep all that console war bs in the Sony/Xbox threads
We already stressin about whether or not this game will be released on the 10th over here
Series X can’t get stable frame rate in assassins creed or call of duty but you think it will magically perform better when the games get more and more demanding on the system?
that doesn’t even f***ing make logical sense! do you even hear yourself?
damn that’s crazy, i’m jealous. enjoy your enhanced weapon smoke my guy
Lol I love how you ignored the important point and then cherrypicked a random detail
The salt in this thread is overwhelming

To be fair we don't know the true capabilities on either console until down the line when games are built solely for next gen and developers learn the tricks and how to use the tools for them
