Yeah I don't think Nikki was repulsed by Bear or anything...he didn't have the confidence in himself to be open with how he felt about her TO HER and instead was looking for a easy way to make it happen essentially...even when he makes the wish its more of a "fuck it why not it probably won't work anyways" thing and not necessarily a malicious "well now I'm taking your control away" thing...eventually when he sees she's suffering inside and still goes along with it is when he becomes irredeemable to me
