BALLSI think what makes this movie really hit home is the relatable theme of having that certain crush that we always longed to be with. This movie is arguably designed to invoke past feelings/memories in the watcher which makes it that much more powerful
Literally no guy can say they haven't been in Bear's position. We've all been there. To have a crush on someone that sees you as a friend. it's so closely relatable but I like how the film twists that into something nefarious.

also dude just on his own seems lame like he has no interests and no real friends whereas everyone else seems to at least have something else going on. I kept thinking about that like what a dumb wish. especially when you came to get a necklace and got sidetracked.

pretty much how i felt. i didn't know the entire synopsis going in and in my head I was like oh yea just wish for a chance to tell her how you really feel and then he did...that
yall the convo they had when he was leaving the house and she said kill me...that boy was a slimeball. like kys man. "whats so bad about being with me" mannn shorty was in hell i felt badwish that Scene was longer like he interacted with the real Nikki more but I get why they didn’t .

boy was immature as hell I wish she loved me more than anything in the world like its not even her he created an alternate reality and got stuck in it. sort of how i feel about time travel movies like well...when you go back to make everything change for you are you really even sharing life or manipulating everything to a t. obviously theres a gradation to this and he just starkly removed her ability to take part

lmao movie had legit hilarious moments, really hit on all cylinders for me. Also when Bear is talking to Freaky Nikki saying stuff like ‘you were perfect before, just beautiful’ showed again how much of a selfish prick the guy was
This is one of those movies where a rewatch is much needed. Feel like I missed a bunch of little things
Lots of little details it’s bonkers . He dies in the same place his cat died in the same exact way after eating the cat .

It’s a movie where I would be fine if it was 2 hours 30 not going to lie . To really flesh out concepts let everything breathe . Most people are getting it
some aren’t getting that bear is clear villain . They view her as the villain due to things he essentially made her do . Bringing her to a doctor and we don’t hear anything but doctor seems to decline her was a confusing scene that I take as something deeper

she really stripped Sarah naked corpse to copy her tattoos and wear her dress . Because he realized he loved Sarah . Part of how we know he loved Sarah is that he was invested in knowing if she got into Luther . He never showed the same care with Nikki novel . Even being dismissive saying a love story and a romance were the same thing . Which is meta because obsession is a dark love story . Not a romance . If he had accepted Sarah from beginning and gave it a chance everything goes well . She lost the crystal which was likely of protection right before a spell got to her .
